This fall is much more beautiful than the past two falls, and people say it is because we get more rain than usual. We celebrate the color change by going to a state park located two hours away. At the park, we talked about friends that we miss, memories we had with them, and longing that we would soon see them again. In this time of year when work seems endless, and my body longs for more sleep, there is a pause as I stop working for a few hours, thinking about what/who matters inn my life. I blame myself for not being able to prioritize people over papers. My view of life is often skewed, as you can see. So forgive me.
