Bamboo

This blog is my effort to capture the daily beauty that I see, but so often just pass. And the blog starts with, this bamboo plant. What a match with the background template I choose for this blog... green, grin :D.
I thought about trying to search the philosophy of bamboo, but oh well, I'd better make my own bamboo philosophy. I bought this small bamboo plant in an Asian supermarket in Denver, CO. At the supermarket, I saw so many Asian descendants. Some people often surprised me because when they passed, they spoke the language I speak. And then there were people like my husband and I, who willingly traveled for five hours -to and from Denver- just to get some Indonesian spices, vegetables and fruits that we often eat back home, and of course, famous Indonesian noodles :) Needless to say, we did this to remind us of home. Like this bamboo which is known to have very strong root system, no matter how far we travel, we often find our hearts to be back home.
