which stands for Mary Catherine Bateson, my favorite anthropologist.
For me, she represents a different take on feminism by looking into the issue of domesticity and home not as totally opposite, discontinued or incompatible to public sphere or professional lives. Instead, domesticity and public lives can be woven together, "composed" (that's her term) in such ways that are meaningful. If you're interested in this matter, I'd recommend her book Composing a Life.
I just want to share a recent article about her and her forthcoming book: Composing a Further Life: The Age of Active Wisdom.
