Me: Hey Ma, how are you?
Mom: Oh I am good. How is D?
Me: D is good. He went to bed already because he has to get up early tomorrow
Mom: Did you eat? What do you cook? Does D eat well?
Me: Oh I cook satay etc etc... He likes the food. What did you do today?
Mom: Oh I went with Pa, cleaned, and then I watched sinetron. Is he (D) gaining some weight? Does he enjoy his job?
Me: He did gain some weight, very good. He does actually enjoy his job, although not like LOVE it.
Mom: What are his hours? Oh and is he still quiet? Tell him to speak some more (laugh a little). What does he bring for lunch? Does he get along well with his friends?

And I just can't help laughing. For you who don't know, my mom started having a crush at D when he was still in junior high. She said D was the cutest boy ever, very "straight" (aka respecting parents, behaving well, and things cute boys do haha). So you know how she felt (and never would she have thought this far) when her daughter decided to marry this cutest boy ;) ;) ;)





To you who taught me to appreciate the brown and green that is the earth, I love you. Yes, although you want to talk about D all the time and not about me :)....
